TCS OA Guide
TCS NQT & TCS CodeVita Prep Guide
TCS NQT is a two-part test: a Foundation section (numerical, verbal, and reasoning ability, plus basic programming logic) and an Advanced section (harder quant/reasoning plus one or two coding problems), usually 2-3.5 hours depending on the variant. TCS CodeVita is a separate, pure competitive-programming contest with algorithmic problems under contest time pressure. Ediky doesn't have TCS-tagged questions yet — this guide is based on TCS's publicly documented exam pattern, not Ediky's own data.
Ediky has zero TCS-tagged questions and no TCS preset as of this guide's last update. Everything below reflects TCS's publicly documented/reported exam pattern, not data measured from Ediky's own question bank. We're saying this plainly rather than presenting invented specifics as if they were sourced.
TCS NQT format (publicly reported, not Ediky data)
TCS NQT's Foundation section covers numerical ability, verbal ability, and reasoning ability, plus a basic programming-logic component. Candidates applying for coding-heavy roles or through the Advanced/CodeVita track sit an additional Advanced section with harder quantitative/reasoning questions and coding problems. Total time typically runs 2-3.5 hours depending on which sections apply to you — check your specific admit card, since TCS varies this by drive.
TCS CodeVita is a different, standalone contest: pure algorithmic problem-solving under competitive-programming time pressure, closer in spirit to a Codeforces round than a placement OA.
How to prepare with Ediky today
Ediky doesn't have TCS-specific content yet, but the two sections that matter most for TCS NQT — aptitude and DSA theory — are both well covered: 236 aptitude questions (quantitative, logical, and verbal reasoning) with instant results, and 134 DSA-Technical MCQ/trace questions for the programming-logic component.
For the CodeVita-style coding round, Ediky's 600-problem competitive programming sheet and 70-problem DSA bank (with a full in-browser IDE across 10+ languages) are the closest match to that contest format.
